Children's Hospital Fund

Over the past ten years, the Children's Hospital Fund has played a major role in the development of programs within MUSC Children's Hospital. Since its inception, the Children's Hospital Fund has solicited community support for three primary purposes. The first is to support our child life department with toys, games, art supplies and other materials to entertain children and make their visit more pleasant. The second is to support research in the prevention and treatment of childhood diseases. Over the past years, the Children's Hospital Fund has made possible the study of research in many pediatric disciplines, including brain disorders, cancer, sickle cell anemia, and heart abnormalities to name a few. The third purpose is to support the development of treatment programs within the department of pediatrics.
