MUSC Children's Hospital's genetics specialists help children, families and adults faced with hereditary and genetic factors that cause disease, defects or potential health issues. Some of the conditions include: disorders, birth defects, Down syndrome, autism, spina bifida and hered family cancer. A referral is needed from your primary care physician. Please fax referral to (843) 846-1518.

genetic counseling
coordination of genetic testing
