HIV/AIDS Clinic
Our outpatient HIV/AIDS clinic is a multidisciplinary program designed
to provide tertiary care to children at risk for, or infected with, human
immunodeficiency virus (HIV). The clinic serves children from birth to age
18. A major effort of the AIDS clinic is to establish or exclude HIV
infection in perinatally exposed infants as early as possible. The goal
is to maintain the health of HIV infected children, emphasizing outpatient
and local management to support the child and their families.
