In Case of Emergency
Campus Security or the Public Safety Officers are available and patrol the campus 24 hours a day to assist with problems. They will escort families to and from their vehicle. They can assist with law enforcement and traffic accidents that occur on campus. They can be reached at (843) 792-4196. If there is an emergency, call 911. There is also a network of blue light phones around the campus, which a Public Safety Officer answers immediately, to assist with emergencies.

Cell Phones and Pagers
Most families now carry cell phones and/or pagers. Please turn these items off when visiting your child, especially in the intensive care unit. There are phones in each room for your use on 7C. Be sure to turn these items on again when leaving the hospital to allow us to reach you in an emergency.
